World's tallest statue ...

The statue of unity .....


The tallest statue in the world of a total height 182metres i.e. 597ft including the base 241metres.Which was dedicated to the Hon.sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.The india's first prime minister ,and also the the main leaders of the indian independence movementand responsible for unification of 554 princely states to form political boundaries of India .

The statue was given a green signal on 7 October 2010 by the government of Gujarat Whose then Cm Narendra Modi. The contract was given to a very reputed company so called as Larsen and tuobro which has done a no of projects till date.


Now this statue took 5 years to be completed starting from 31october 2013 to 31 October 2018.Larsen and tuobro received this project for 2989 crores nearly 420 million us dollars and the inauguration was done by The prime minister  Narendra Modi .There were 3000 workers and 240 engineers who made this statue .


Located on the river island facing the sardar sarovar dam on Narmada river in kevadiya colony Gujarat .Many visitors visit this from various parts of the country and all together this is a wonder in the world .So ,this makes India incredible .Why shouldn't it ? Ofcourse India has got the world's tallest statue .
