Nagpur does not only fascinates itself with its biological and geographical importance but , also has attracted the people towards its tourism .Here is a list of things you can do when in Nagpur.
If you love Animals or love visiting national park let me tell you , that , Nagpur has got many National parks and tiger reserves hence it is also called as tiger capital of India . The famous Tadoba national park is just 14km away form Nagpur , the Pench tiger reserve is around 100km from Nagpur . Also, it has got other reserves such as Bor wildlife sanctuary , Navegaon national park , Melghat tiger reserve , Kanha tiger reserve and these all national tiger reserves are located at a distance of mere 200km from the city .
There is also a structure that indicates it is the centre of India . Various natural and man-made Lakes are there in Nagpur .Nagpur has also many religious places like Deekshabhoomi and dragon palace temple which are prominent sight of attractions .
Deekshabhoomi is the place where Dr . Babasaheb Ambedkar with his millions of followers embraced Buddhism in 1956.
Two main museums , Nagpur central museum and Raman science centre has a lot of attraction of science lovers and those interested in intellectual things.
