Ahmednagar the place where discovery of India was written by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru( 1942-1946) at Ahmednagar fort during his imprisonment in the British rule. Talking of the Ahmednagar fort , it is located on the Bhingar river in Ahmednagar , it was the main headquarters of the Ahmednagar sultanate which was taken away by the British during the second Anglo Martha war, since then the fort was used as a prison til the British rule. Well talking about history it was the fort where Mahatma Gandhi , Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and many great leaders were kept in imprisonment.
